These Terms are effective July 19, 2026 and describe the Pen Pal Travels mail club, billing, renewals, cancellation, and fulfillment.

Pen Pal Travels is a story-led monthly mail club. The traveling pen pal is an imaginative character created by Pen Pal Travels. Pen Pal Travels does not provide child-to-child matching, personal correspondence, or letters written by an individual child or traveler. Each recipient receives the same featured destination story and materials for that mailing cycle, except for the recipient name and mailing address used to fulfill the order.

No charge occurs when an order is submitted. By submitting an order, the purchaser authorizes Pen Pal Travels and Stripe to save the selected payment method and use it for future recurring subscription charges, including charges made while the purchaser is not actively using the website.

The first full charge occurs on the first day of the next calendar month. The first mailing is for that same month. The calendar month in which the order is submitted is not a mailing month.

Renewals occur on the first day of the applicable renewal month. Monthly plans renew monthly, 3-month plans renew every 3 months, 6-month plans renew every 6 months, and 12-month plans renew every 12 months. Each plan renews automatically until canceled.

Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid term. Every mailing included in that paid term will continue. Cancellation does not create a prorated refund.

Prepaid subscription payments are non-refundable, except where required by law. Pen Pal Travels may, at its discretion, issue a refund or credit to correct an error, duplicate charge, or exceptional customer-service matter. This does not promise a refund for every request.

Issuing a refund or credit and canceling a subscription are separate actions. One does not automatically cause the other.

A mailing is not earned until the applicable subscription invoice is paid. A failed or authentication-required payment can delay the corresponding mailing.

If payment succeeds after the normal monthly fulfillment batch, that month’s mailing may be sent separately. Continued nonpayment can result in subscription cancellation after payment recovery attempts.

Billing-date and mailing-month calculations use Eastern Time.

Pen Pal Travels currently ships within the United States using standard stamped mail. Shipping is included in the displayed plan price, and tracking is not available. Delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Customers outside the available delivery area may email hello@penpaltravels.com to request a future location.

Each order can be addressed to one recipient. Customers must provide a complete and accurate recipient name and mailing address. Address changes must be emailed to support@penpaltravels.com by the last day of the month to affect the next available mailing.

Damaged items should be reported to support@penpaltravels.com with a photo.

Stripe saves payment methods and processes subscription charges for Pen Pal Travels. Order and payment questions should be sent to support@penpaltravels.com.
